| strike() The strike() method will convert the string value to an instance of the HTML STRIKE tag. That is, the string will be displayed by the browser as if it were enclosed within the opening and closing STRIKE tags. STRIKE is used to display text which will appear with a line through the middle of it. syntax: string.strike() EXAMPLE strikeString = new String("This text is Striked Out"); document.write(strikeString.sub() ); The example shows the creation of a new string, strikeString. It is then used within a document.write statement along with the strike() method to display the value of strikeString in a striked out version of the chosen font.
