| exp() The exp() method is used to calculate the exponent to the power of the number given. The base is Euler's constant, which is the mathematical base of all natural logarithms. As with all mathematical methods, it is used with the Math object. syntax: Math.exp(number) EXAMPLE var expValue = 456 * Math.exp(567); document.write("The value of expValue is : " + expValue); The example shows the creation of a new object which is the product of the multiplication of 456 and the exponent of 567, all of which are loaded into expValue. The contents of expValue are then written to the screen using a document.write statement, with some descriptive text. The output should look like the following: The value of expValue is : 8.015600834369535e+248 |
