filter

This property is used to assign filter attributes to the given element. This property is very powerful, has many uses, and is fun to play around with. The filter values are as follows:

ALPHA() - This value is used to set the alpha channel of the image it is used with. The alpha channel is the opacity of the image. That is whether you can see through it, or not. A value of 0 is completely transparent, while a value of 100 is normal (opaque). Valid values do not exceed 100. There is a STYLE parameter to this value which will set the alpha gradient shape, those shapes being 0 for UNIFORM, 1 for LINEAR, 2 for RADIAL, and 3 for RECTANGULAR. The parameters STARTX and STARTY set the horizontal and vertical points for the gradient to start, while FINISHX and FINISHY set the horizontal and vertical points for the gradient to end.
BLUR() - Blurs the image. There is an ADD parameter that dictates whether or not to add the original image to the blurred image. The values are 1 to add the image, and 0 to not add the image. The STRENGTH parameter indicates the number of pixels the blurrexdc image will extend. The direction parameter sets the angle of the blur to be applied to the image. The values are:
0 for ABOVE
45 for ABOVE-RIGHT
90 for RIGHT
135 for BELOW-RIGHT
180 for BELOW
225 for BELOW-LEFT
270 for LEFT
315 for ABOVE-LEFT
CHROMA() - This value is used to set one of the image colors to transparent. The COLOR parameter sets the color to be made transparent. The color values is a hexadecimal #RRGGBB value.
DROPSHADOW() - This value is used to an offset shadow which will create the illusion of depth. There is a COLOR parameter which sets the color of the dropshadow. The color is a hexadecimal #RRGGBB value. The parameters OFFX and OFFY set the number of pixels between the image and the shadow, positive values will have the shadow to the right and left of the image, while negative values will be to the top and left of the image. The positive parameter defines whether or not the transparent pixels generate a shadow (a value of 0) or not (a value of 1).
FLIPH() - This value is used to create a horizontally mirrored image.
FLIPV() - This value is used to create a vertically mirrored image.
GLOW() - This value will add a radiant effect to the outer edges of the image. The COLOR parameter sets the color of the radiant rays. The color is a hexdecimal #RRGGBB value. The STRENGTH parameter sets the strength of the rays. The value range is from 0 to 255.
GRAYSCALE() - This value is used to remove all colors, and reduce the image to its greyscale components, retaining luminosity.
INVERT() - This value will reverse, or invert, the hue, brightness and saturation values of the image.
LIGHT() - This value will add the effect of a light shining on the image.
MASK() - This value will create a transparent mask on the image. The COLOR parameter sets the color of the masked areas. The color is a hexadecimal #RRGGBB value.
SHADOW() - This value will create the illusion of a solid silhouette (shadow) around the image. The COLOR parameter sets the color of the color used for the shadow. The color is a hexadecimal #RRGGBB value. The direction parameter sets the direction of the shadow. The values for direction are:
0 for ABOVE
45 for ABOVE-RIGHT
90 for RIGHT
135 for BELOW-RIGHT
180 for BELOW
225 for BELOW-LEFT
270 for LEFT
315 for ABOVE-LEFT

WAVE() - This value will give a sine wave effect, which is rendered along the X-Axis of the image. There is an ADD parameter which dictates whether or not to add the original image to the waved image (value of 1), or not (value of 0). The FREQ parameter sets the number of waves to be applied to the image, LIGHT sets the strength of the light source (a value between 0 and 100), PHASE sets the percentage offset for the sine wave (a value of 0 to 100), and STRENGTH sets the wave intensity.
XRAY() - This will cause only the edges of the image to be displayed.
BLENDTRANS() - This value will create an effect of fading the element in or out. There is a DURATION parameter which sets the value in SECONDS.MILLESECONDS.
REVEALTRANS() - This value is used to set the transition between the hiding and the showing of an element. There is a DURATION parameter which sets the time of the transition (SECONDS.MILLISECONDS).
The TRANSITIONSHAPE is one of the following:

0 for Box In
1 for Box Out
2 for Circle In
3 for Circle Out
4 for Wipe Up
5 for Wipe Down
6 for Wipe Right
7 for Wipe Left
8 for Vertical Blinds
9 for Horizontal Blinds
10 for CheckerBoard Across
11 for CheckerBoard Down
12 for Random Dissolve
13 for Split Vertical In
14 for Split Vertical Out
15 for Split orizontal In
16 for Split Horizontal Out
17 for Strip Left Down
18 for Strip Left Up
19 for Strip Right Down
20 for Strip Right Up
21 for Random Horizontal Bars
22 for Random vertical Bars
23 for Random
