Select

The select object reflects the functionality of the Html SELECT tag. It is used with option to define the contents of a drop down type list. The contents of the list, defined by the option object, can be constructed according to user input. This is a very often used object, and it is important you understand its uses. It should be noted that the innerHtml and innerText properties are not available on the IE version on the Macintosh.
